The presence of new media or (New media) also conveys changes in people's communication patterns. New media, one of which is the internet, more or less influences the way individuals communicate with one another. Social media that is often used by society today, especially social media Instagram, Instagram is an open communication space for all people, including media in mass communication. Teenagers are an age group that is vulnerable to the influence of social media and has an important role in promoting social awareness. Instagram as a social media platform that allows users to share photos and videos online, has become a place to promote social issues such as the environment, concern for humans, mental health, human rights, and so on. This study used descriptive qualitative method. This research also uses information theory and new media theory, the results of this study are that social media Instagram @satuamalindonesia plays a very important role in educating youth social care. The Instagram social media @satuamalindonesia educates social awareness in adolescents through content uploaded on their Instagram media, the content uploaded on their Instagram is in the form of educational content and educational content.
